Many countries, including those across the Asia-Pacific region, have committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. While Europe and the U.S. are leading the charge in advancing key technologies—such as grid-scale batteries, virtual power plants (VPPs), energy efficiency, electric vehicles, and carbon capture—access to these innovations remains limited in Asia.

Japan Climate Connect (JCC) was established to bridge this gap. Our mission is to accelerate the deployment of cutting-edge global climate technologies by creating meaningful business opportunities across Asia-Pacific.

JCC was founded by the creators of ENECHANGE, a publicly listed company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and Japan Energy Fund, a venture capital fund dedicated to investing in global decarbonization and energy technologies. Together, we combine deep regional knowledge with a global network of startups and corporates to drive impactful partnerships that support the net-zero transition.
